Featured on Matt Risinger's Channel! A Recap of What We Do by Jordan Smith!

Matt Risinger, of Risinger Homes in Austin, Texas and his partner, Jordan Smith, recently showcased us in their youtube video at the JLC Live Show in Providence, Rhode Island this past April to their 370,000 subscribers which you can find here.

In the video, Jordan begins explaining how like in their Mitek Truss Plant tour, we do the same thing and more! He talks about how Hamilton Building Services provides the complete framing package with sheathing in a panelized system directly to the site.

He then goes on to say that we begin with the design. Now, you can either send us a design or start with one of our standard designs and we will send you the full set of prints for the project. Like Jordan says in the video, we do use the Mitek Sapphire Software to come up with all of our framing prints and then we make these panels. Every panel for the walls are pre-made and shipped to the site. In the home's foundation floorprint, every bundle for the walls is labeled where to go so that the crane operator knows exactly where to place every bundle so that the home can efficiently be put together. Jordan also goes on to explain how a normal framing job would take several days to a week to get done but how it only takes a few hours with us. He talks about how the exterior sheathing can be either OSB, Plywood, Zip, Zip R, or more because we're very flexible with selections and we want to give you the option of choosing. Because we are a custom home building company, we allow you to select everything from design set up, to colors, and more. We want you to be able to have as much control over what you're paying for as possible and make you as happy as possible!

The only drawback for Jordan is that we don't ship to Texas. We are currently only a North East Materials Supplier, but the leading one! We hope that you choose us when it comes to looking to build a new home and we look forward to helping your dream home become a reality!

If you want to check out more of Matt Risinger and Jordan Smith's videos, you can find them here! We certainly recommend these talented guys! Thanks for covering us!

#SolarSunday

Having a pool to cool off and relax in is a luxury that is especially nice during these hot summer months. But, like most luxuries in life, time, energy, and money must be put into owning a pool. One of the costs associated with having a pool is the money it takes to heat a pool. If you are interested in swimming in your pool after the sun goes down or during cooler months, heating your pool is a viable option to consider. Check out some information about how solar hot water collectors can heat your pool. How does it work? Pool water gets pumped through a filter into a solar hot water collector. Solar hot water collectors are thin and generally mounted on a roof. Thin pipes of water then run through the collector. When the sun's rays hit the collector, they heat the running water inside. Monday's Maintenance: Sealing Your Driveway

An asphalt driveway can be a real luxury if you're used to driving on rocks or dirt; however, asphalt does require a little extra work. There is no secret time you should seal your driveway, but the typical suggested time to wait is three years. Depending on how you use your driveway and where you live, you will want to adjust your timing accordingly. Follow these tips to seal your driveway successfully! Image via www.seawayhandyman.com Pick out the problem areas and fill in the cracks. This will help prevent small cracks from expanding into bigger, more problematic cracks.  Get rid of stains. You'll need to really scrub, but with a little elbow grease, soap, and hot water, you can get rid of those nasty grease or oil stains.  Fill in potholes. Hopefully you don't have many, or any at all, but if you do you'll need to fill them in prior to sealing the driveway. Make sure it's hot outside! It might be tiring to work in the heat, but the higher the temper...
