Warm weather is headed our way, and so are the creepy-crawly insects that come with the season. We did a little research to find out which plants to plant to ward off unwelcome visitors. Check out the list below! Marigolds Marigolds are a flower with deep fall colors, mostly containing oranges, reds and maroons. This beautiful flower will keep away pests like tomato worms, white flies, nematodes and beetles with its velvety petals. Not only is lavendar ideal for inside your home, its perfect for keeping away fleas, moths and mosquitoes. Image via www.burpee.com Chrysanthemums Chrysanthemums usually come in shades of red, pink, yellow and oranges, and they are a great plant to invest in as they're human and pet friendly. Incorporating plants into your home decor is always an excellent idea. House plants add a refreshing, clean vibe to the atmosphere, and can add a lot to a space. Also, if you shop around and look when certain plants are in season, you can usually get house plants for a good price. Here are some plants that won't die on you, but instead will thrive in your house. Image via www.ambius.com Aloe Aloe likes lots of sunlight, and a moderate  temperature around 70 degrees. This plant  is low maintenance as it likes dry soil and  does not need to be watered often.
