  • Seal up any open crawl spaces where extra air can escape from your home. This will improve your heating and cooling costs year-round, keep unwanted moisture out, and it will also keep out any critters you are not expecting.       There are several different types of insulation you can use depending on what you want to insulate. Some of the types of insulation include: fiberglass (blanket or loose-fill), mineral wool (rock or slag), cellulose (recycled paper product), plastic fiber, natural fiber (cotton, hemp, straw, wool), polystyrene (plastic), polyisocyanurate (plastic), polyurethane (foam), and vermiculite and perlite.

  • Insulate! Insulation is not only important for doors and windows. There are several other places to keep in mind when properly insulating your home. Some of these areas include, but are not limited to: attics, between the studs and rafters of exterior walls and roofs, garages, floors that are above crawl spaces, cathedral ceilings, and foundation insulation.

This is another cost savings benefit that also results in a cleaner job site.      Even though the panels and trusses are built in a factory, doesn't mean that you're sacrificing the customization of your new home. We design all of our panels and trusses in house, to match the floo...
