House Plants that Thrive

Incorporating plants into your home decor is always an excellent idea. House plants add a refreshing, clean vibe to the atmosphere, and can add a lot to a space. Also, if you shop around and look when certain plants are in season, you can usually get house plants for a good price. Here are some plants that won't die on you, but instead will thrive in your house.

Aloe

Aloe likes lots of sunlight, and a moderate 
temperature around 70 degrees. This plant 
is low maintenance as it likes dry soil and 
does not need to be watered often.

Pothos

Pothos plants are air-purifying that remove toxins from the air. They climb well, and look nice in hanging baskets. This plant requires moderate sunlight, and needs to be trimmed occasionally. The soil can be on the dryer side, but it does need watered periodically.

Diffenbachia 

Diffenbachia plants provide a tropical appearance without the tedious upkeep. The plant requires moderate water and medium to low sunlight.

Peace Lily

The Peace Lily is ideal for homes with low light, and it 
prefers moist soil with low humidity. The plant is easy 
to grow and looks very elegant.

                          Heart-shaped Philodendron 


This plant is super easy to care for, and it's almost impossible to kill it. The Heart-shaped Philodendron is a trailing plant with leaves that are shaped like hearts. They look especially nice up high so they can climb down. The plant prefers indirect sunlight, and the soil likes to be dry in between watering.
