What is Panelized Construction?

Let Us Answer Your Questions!

Are you wondering what is a panelized home, and how is it different from a traditional stick built or a modular?

A panelized home is identical to a traditional stick built home except the wall panels and roof trusses are built in a climate-controlled “factory like” environment. The pre-engineered fabricated panels are delivered to the job site already finished where they only need to be stood up and assembled. With a traditional stick built home a crew of framers will build the wall panels one by one, at the job site, on the ground.

Manufacturing the wall panels indoors minimizes the time the shell of a panelized home is exposed to outdoor elements, reducing the probability of mold, mildew, and warping. Prefinished panels also make the framing assembly process considerably faster. Your new home can be weather-tight in just a few days. It also takes fewer skilled laborers on the job site, saving you both time and money.

Unlike a modular home that lacks in design and the ability to tailor to ones personal taste, a panelized home has endless design flexibility and customizable features. Whether you see yourself in a Ranch, Cape Cod, Colonial, Craftsman, or Victorian style home there is a panelized home to fit your lifestyle, needs, and wants.
If you can’t find an exact plan that mirrors your vision, don’t worry! Our drafting department employs state-of-the-art software and will draw custom plans at NO additional charge, turning your vision into working blueprints.

From flexible home design, cost savings, to quality construction, panelized construction is the very best way to build your new home. Your home can be designed much like a stick built home but also remain more economical like a modular home.

Things are looking up!

When it comes to different types of ceilings, there is a lot to choose from. If you're like most people, you think of the standard drop ceiling that we're used to seeing in many homes is the only option. That kind of thinking couldn't be further from the truth! Seeing the beams of the house in plain sight can create a rustic feel or simply add symmetry to the room's ambiance. Either way, they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
