#Throwback: Bygone Home Features

If you're an antique lover, you'll love this post! Antiques and bygone homefeatures are on there way back in, and they're going to be trending all year long. Check out some neat home features that are considered bygone, but not for long!

Telephone Nook

A way of the "good 'ol days," the phone nook is a classic bygone that folks seem to really like. Of course, you could use this small space as a closet, but why not spruce it up with a decorative chair and end table to enjoy a conversation with someone you love who is far away?

Dumbwaiter

It certainly isn't a nice name, but the dumbwaiter is a bygone home feature that can be an attractive attribute for any modern home. As the name entails, it was used by waiters or butlers to transport goods to another part of the home, but multistory homes could benefit from this feature, too!

Mailbox Hooks

Remember snail mail? Yeah, me either . . . Mail hooks next to your front door used to be a common bygone home feature that we don't see as often due to traditional style mailboxes and email, but it looks like they're starting to make a come back!
