DIY Autumn Decor

Fall is quickly approaching, and soon the smell of pumpkin spice and rustling leaves will fill the air. Get into the season by decorating your front porch first. Autumn decorations are generally pretty cheap, and you can even make most of them yourself. Check out some of these easy DIY crafts that will get you and your neighbors in the seasonal spirit!

Wreaths
Wreaths are one of the best go-to crafts for fall that usually have a pretty good turn out. If it strikes your fancy you can buy materials at a craft store, such as Joann Fabrics, or you can just talk a stroll through your backyard and collect some leaves and twigs - totally up to you. A little hot glue, and you're good to go!

Pumpkins
You have a lot of leeway when it comes to pumpkins. If you don't have any pumpkins easily available try looking around for local farmers that may have some for sale. Odds are they will be cheaper and better quality. Also, if you're not into carving pumpkins, painting them is a cleaner, more sophisticated look.

Leaves
Believe it or not, there are a ton of crafts you can do with leaves, and the best part is that they're completely free. Pictured below are DIY candle holders that simply have leaves attached to a mason jar with Mod Podge adhesive. Click here to see 14 more leaf crafts.
